Trusted Giving
Donate goods & funds through a transparent local channel: every item inspected, cleaned, and accounted for.
How it works
We keep the path from your donation to a child's hands short, transparent, and local.
Donate quality kids' goods or funds through a transparent local channel.
Every item is inspected and cleaned. Then one of two things happens.
Proceeds become grants to local programs serving kids in foster care, kinship homes, and crisis.
The model
Three are live and one is in development. Here's how each plays its part.
Donate goods & funds through a transparent local channel: every item inspected, cleaned, and accounted for.
Collective Kids Closet resells quality kids' goods at affordable prices for all families throughout the community.
Proceeds fund local 501(c)(3) programs serving children in foster care, kinship homes, and crisis.
A structured way to give time alongside goods and funds.
Two paths, one promise
The same community generosity flows through two channels: one funds local programs, the other puts goods straight into the hands of a child who needs them now.
Donated goods are inspected and resold affordably through Collective Kids Closet. The proceeds become grants to local 501(c)(3) programs serving kids in foster care, kinship homes, and crisis.
When a partner has a child in crisis who needs clothing, shoes, or essentials now, the goods are contributed directly to them, never resold.
Where your money goes
During launch, your donation does double duty: it stocks the shelves and seeds the fund that supports our partner programs.
A detailed “where your money goes” breakdown will be published here once our first full cycle of data is available.
